About
My journey in bodywork began in 2008 when I became a licensed massage therapist with a simple but powerful goal: to help people feel better in their bodies. Over the years, I’ve learned that massage is about much more than relieving tension, it’s about restoring balance, creating space for the body to heal, and giving people permission to slow down. The name Alaafia Wellness Collective comes from the Yoruba word Alaafia, which means peace, good health, and a state of complete well-being. It represents a life where the body, mind, and spirit exist in harmony. That philosophy is the heart of my practice. My approach to massage is both therapeutic and restorative. With over a decade of experience, I’ve developed a style that blends clinical bodywork with deeply relaxing techniques that allow the nervous system to settle and the body to reset. I believe that when the body is given intentional care and time, it responds in powerful ways. Alaafia Wellness Collective was created to offer a more thoughtful and personalized wellness experience. Each session is tailored to the individual, often incorporating focused attention to areas that hold deep tension while supporting the body as a whole. As a mobile wellness practice, I bring this experience directly to clients in the comfort of their own environment. My work is especially suited for professionals, caregivers, and individuals who understand that true self-care is not just a luxury, but a necessity. My goal is for every client to leave their session feeling grounded, restored, and closer to a state of Alaafia—peace, balance, and complete wellness.Business Hours
